Have you ever felt like you want to run away from home?

As a woman, I know this feeling very well, in fact some years back I did just that,

I ran away from home.

At the time I was experiencing emotional stress, my relationship was breaking down, I was working in a business I did not love with huge financial commitments, things were crumbling around me and I wanted out!!

Emotional stress is a normal reaction to the pressures of everyday life, worry, fear, anger, sadness and other emotions are also all normal emotional responses. However, if the stress that underlies these emotions interferes with your ability to do the things you want or need to do, this stress has become unhealthy and yes I was feeling extremely unhealthy.

Our physical bodies are brilliant at providing us with messages to help us balance and heal. We are actually intuitively programmed to self-heal and repair, but to do so, we have to “listen” to the biological signals our body is sending and do something about them.

Do you need to rest, cry, use the bathroom, hydrate or eat, connect with a friend, scream, move, be in nature, pray, or journal? Following healthy biological impulses can help us relieve emotional tension and reset from a survival response.

What I learned from my experience was that the emotions I was feeling were a sign that I was totally disconnected from my own desires, I recognized I was feeling defensive, indecisive, and unsupported and these feelings were holding me back from the life I truly wanted to live.

I am a firm believer in an integrated approach to wellness, which means we look at a whole approach not just focusing on one aspect.

There are so many modalities that can support us to work through these heavy times, they include meditation, journaling, nature therapy, and of course maintaining a strong base of physical health, including what we eat, sleep and physical exercise to start with.

Now my story is no different to many women I know that’s why today I can honestly say I love my life and I love to help women discover their own life again.

I can help you rediscover who you are without leaving home!!

Just head to my calendar and book a time so we can chat
